The <\/span>School of Agricultural Sciences<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0was founded in\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>2019<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0, based in\u00a0<\/span>Messolonghi<\/span><\/strong>, in accordance with\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Article 35<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0of\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Law 4610\/2019, (Government Gazette 70\/7.5.2019, Part A)<\/span><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a8Synergies\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>between Universities and Technical and Vocational Institutes, access to higher education, experimental schools, General State Archives and other provisions\u00a8<\/span>\u00a0.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Through modern\u00a0<\/span>undergraduate<\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>postgraduate<\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0study programs, as well as the research activities of the teaching and research staff, we offer our students internationally recognized studies in Agricultural Sciences and enhance the prestige of the University of Patras.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It is one of the\u00a0<\/span>seven Schools<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0of the University of Patras and consists of\u00a0<\/span>two (2) Departments<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0in the city of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Messolonghi<\/span> (School Secretariat<\/span>)<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>two (2) Departments<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0in the city of\u00a0<\/span>Agrinio<\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

\u03a4he University was founded in November 1964<\/strong> and is a nationally and internationally distinguished and renowned Higher Education Institution, thanks to its diverse and innovative activity in the fields of both the sciences, engineering and health sciences as well as the humanities, social and economic sciences.

Its geographical location allows it to be in contact with a rich natural environment and its multifaceted contribution to the prosperity of the wider region.
