According to Presidential Decree 52/2022 – Government Gazette 131/A/7-7-2022 Establishment, Abolition, Merger, Renaming and Change of Headquarters of Departments at the University of Patras.
Department Establishment
Founded Department of Sustainable Agriculture based in Agrinio
Abolition-Merger of Departments
a) The Departments of Agriculture based in Amaliada, Plant Production Science based in Messolonghi and Biosystems Science and Agricultural Engineering based in Messolonghi of the University of Patras merge in a Department of Agriculture established with headquarters in Messolonghi.
b) The Department of Agricultural Biotechnology based in Agrinio which was established with the amendment of paragraph 1 of article 36 of law 4610/2019 (A’70) abolished
c) The Department of Environmental Engineering of the School of Engineering merges with the newly established Department of Sustainable Agriculture of the School of Agricultural Sciences into a Department of Sustainable Agriculture based in Agrinio.
d) The Department of Agricultural and Food Business Administration of the School of Economics and Business Administration, based in Agrinio merges with the Department of Food Science and Technology of the School of Agricultural Sciences, based in Agrinio, into a Department of Food Science and Technology based in Agrinio.
